Which New Subaru Model is Right for You?

At Bert Smith Subaru, we have a wide range of new 2020 models to choose from in our inventory. Each one is ready to serve drivers in a unique way. So, which one is right for you? Check out our brief overview of each new Subaru model below to see which one might be the right choice.

  • Ascent: Subaru now has a model that's ready to accommodate growing families. The new 2020 Ascent is a full-size SUV with three rows of seating and space for up to eight passengers. It's ready to haul people and cargo alike. Plus, its 5,000-pound towing capacity and 8.7 inches of ground clearance mean it's plenty capable. A range of luxury features like second-row captain's chairs, Wi-Fi connectivity, panoramic moonroof, and more, add layers of refinement.
  • Crosstrek: Subaru's compact SUV. is ready to take you on an adventure. Along with standard symmetrical all-wheel drive, the Crosstrek offers higher ground clearance than its peers like the Impreza. On the inside, the Crosstrek has 51.7 cubic feet of cargo space available. Passenger amenities include standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman Kardon audio, available leather upholstery, and more.
  • Outback: This capable SUV is ready for any road trip. Drivers can choose between either a 175-horsepower BOXER engine that can achieve up to 32 mpg highway or a more powerful BOXER engine with 256 horsepower. Symmetrical all-wheel drive with X-MODE and 8.7 inches of ground clearance mean the Outback is ready to tackle tough road conditions. It also offers up to 73.3 cubic feet of cargo space.
  • Forester: Versatility is the key characteristic of the Subaru Forester. It has plenty of space, with 108.3 cubic feet of passenger space and folding rear seats for added cargo capacity. A range of safety features like Blind-Spot Detection and Reverse Automatic Braking help drivers stay confident on the road. An available 250-horsepower BOXER engine and standard symmetrical all-wheel drive help the Forester deliver the performance drivers expect.
  • Impreza: Subaru's most affordable model doesn't skimp on features or capability. Available in both sedan and hatchback body styles, the Impreza remains a popular choice for its efficiency, flexibility, and comfort. Despite its smaller size, the Impreza offers the most passenger space in its class. Its 152-horsepower BOXER engine produces 152 horsepower and achieves up to 38 mpg highway. The Impreza's ergonomic, yet handsome interior is a favorite among many drivers.
  • Legacy: The Subaru Legacy isn't your standard midsize family sedan. For starters, standard symmetrical all-wheel drive gives it a handling advantage over many of its front-wheel-drive competitors. Next, its distinct BOXER engine offers a low center of gravity and smooth power. Finally, it offers a long list of impressive cabin features and more total interior space than any other vehicle in its class.
  • WRX: This sport sedan is focused squarely on providing an engaging experience for enthusiasts. The WRX comes with up to 305 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. Symmetrical all-wheel drive and Vehicle Dynamics Control help keep it planted around corners. Quick-Ratio Steering and Track-Tuned Suspension give excellent feedback to the driver. Choose the STI package and you'll get extra features like lightweight rims, RECARO performance seats, and more.
  • BRZ: This coupe is the only vehicle in Subaru's lineup to ditch the brand's hallmark symmetrical all-wheel drive setup, but for good reason. The BRZ offers a tried-and-true layout for auto enthusiasts: front engine, rear-wheel drive. It's a perfect choice for those who enjoy driving for its own sake. Coming in at just 2,789 pounds, the BRZ is a lightweight machine. Features like sport-tuned suspension, low center of gravity, quick-ratio steering, and limited slip differential make it a master of handling dynamics. Its punchy, 200-horsepower BOXER engine is more than enough to toss around the BRZ's lightweight body.
